In celebration of VOGF’s 50th anniversary, we have commissioned ten composers (eight of them from Wales) to write short pieces for Street Organ. The new works will be premiered at Wales Millennium Centre, before touring to St Fagans National Museum of History, Barry Island, Penarth Pier, Aberystwyth, the National Eisteddfod in Llanrwst, and Bangor.
We are excited that this project will create a platform to celebrate established, multi award-winning composers alongside exciting younger talents. Each composer has been selected for their shared ability to voice something truly unique through their music.
