Inspired by time spent in the Australian outback, Ingwe (an aboriginal word for night) evokes a spiritual journey taken by the composer, one he has described as ‘a desperate shout to the heavens’. From Jimi Hendrix-like walls of sound to peaceful stretches of quiet meditation, the music depicts on the one hand, the radiant night sky in the silent vastness of the desert and, on the other the dark night of the soul.

The festival booking office is based at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. A £1.75 transaction fee applies to all online bookings with an optional postage charge of 70p. Concessions (listed in brackets) apply to students, under 16s and disabled customers. Wheelchair companions are entitled to complimentary tickets.
