|It’s news that probably won’t come as a surprise, but very sadly we’ve taken the decision to cancel this year’s Vale of Glamorgan Festival because of the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak. It is with a heavy heart that we take this step, but the health and safety of audiences and artists is our priority.
If you have already booked tickets, you will be refunded (including the booking fee) by our ticketing provider, Ticketsource. Due to the exceptional numbers of cancellations Ticketsource are dealing with at the moment, your refund may take a few days to process.
During this very challenging time, we have committed to paying all the musicians and artists involved in this year’s Festival. The future for many arts organisations is very uncertain, and we ask you to consider donating the price of your ticket to support the Festival so that it can return next year, via our giving page. DONATE NOW.
Over the coming weeks, we plan to curate an online programme of performances, some recorded, some live, for you to enjoy during May, when the Festival would normally take place.
In the meantime, watch this recent performance of Dallas Symphony Orchestra playing the piece that would have closed the Festival, John Luther Adams’ epic Become Ocean. WATCH NOW.
